Quick Easy Cheap way to stop burning yourself when cooking.

Ok I burned the living daylights out of my fingers a few weeks ago while cooking. (something I LOVE to do but only get the time to occasionally do- cooking not burning myself) I didnt have a Kitchen towel around to prevent any more burns. So I put on my "thinking cap" and came up with this cheap, easy, quick way to prevent myself from being burned by the hot pot lid. Just take a strip of Aluminum Foil, pull it through the lid handle and pinch them at the top to make a straight upward handle...and voila! If you have some ideas of your own please do share them in my comments section below!

My Dream House....

I Love the teal Chest/Vanity thing. Gotta have THAT chair! and the mirror is AWESOME!
What a GRAND living room this is!!! I would just change the blue wall on the right and the floor. I also would paint all the brown furniture (towards the right int he back) white or hot pink or teal.
I want it ALL in this bathroom! I actually have an antique tub like this one right now.

I found all of these pictures at  O MUNDO DE DÁLIA via Hidden in France

Hello. Spring!

Weeeeeelcome SPRING! It's May 1rst and its the first NICE warm day here in NYC. I love bright colors and used that to inspire me when making this mirror. One day I might just paint my art studio these colors- right now its just white.

Oval Mirrors with Butterfly

I took apart some of my Butterfly Rings (that were unfortunately just collecting dust on my shelf) and used them to make these cute mirrors.

DIY Rhinestone Blue Round Mirror

Blue Compact Mirror covered in Rhinestones. I used Mod Podge to adhere the Rhinestones and glitter. It is very simple. You can get as creative as you'd like!

Teal Heart Mirror

This is one of my FAVORITE mirrors I designed.

It is a beautiful teal heart mirror with an amazing delicate cameo cabochon. I used teal glitter for the background and purple and blue rhinestones and aluminum flowers. It is all adhered with Mod Podge. I also use the Mod Podge to seal the glitter, so it doesnt flake off.
