Hello Kitty Decoupaged!!!!

My camera was the unfortunate victim of a final lesson I needed to learn! So please excuse the quality of these pics- Im making lemonade out of oranges. :-)

I did my first Decoupage project today. I used Mod Podge. (I must admit I have fallen in LOVE with it- Im hunting around my house for what I could decoupage next!) I woke up on the Glitter side of the bed- and did this eeeearly in the morning. It is a very messy project. My nails still have glue on them (4 hours later) The finished product has some wrinkles in it- which I haven't quite figured out if they are mistakes or not- what I have decided is that I LOVE it the way it is.




This is the Hello Kitty Bank originally. My mom bought it for me at a flea market (she knew I had one already at home and thought it would make a great addition to my collection) I liked it when I first got it- but I wasn't thrilled with the colors and the paint job was quite poor on it.

You cant tell from the picture- I know sorry!!!- but I used Glitter Mod Podge to give it that last umph! it needed. Isn't the cutest thing???

Houndstooth Altered Composition Notebook...

I LOVE all things Pink and Black...throw in houndstooth print and a notebook and Im on cloud 9 (quick get me a mojito!) lol

I needed a new notebook for work (I use a notebook to write all my notes, that way I do not lose any papers) I put a pink polka dot ribbon down the front cover to add some pink.

Had to throw in the Hot pink on the back cover! I put my Handmade Art stamp on the bottom.

Oh Houndstooth how I LOVE thee....

For my first post I want to share some amazing handmade fashion pieces I stumbled upon a few weeks ago. I went to BUST's Holiday Craft Fair a last week and saw a table with some amazing bags (Well there were many tables with amazing bags....but this one stood out to me most). (I am a bag FANATIC, I own like 50 handbags and another 75 wallets...and the collection is GROWING!!) The bag I fell inlove with had this awesome urban type print the young lady said she makes the print herself and even prints it on to the fabric herself! this one in particular caught my eye....Im saving up to order me one! (I usually dont buy leather products....but this bag is to sweet to not enjoy) They have some other cute stuff like this CUTE sweatshirt and this one too Love! the kisses. JunkPrints.com Suckas!

I love all things houndstooth and LOVE this coat!!!! Very Chic Very Urban I found this coat on Etsy The designer is yellow cake YUM, she has some other cool stuff like this White Coat and this cute red dress perfect for a New Years Partii (If you dont have enough time to get it for this year, there is always next year!!)
