Fiesta Mirror with Red Heart!

This is my Fiesta Mirror. This glitter reminds me of the lil bits and pieces that come out of a Pinata when you break it. I used Mod Podge to adhere the heart rhinestone (its SUPER strong- works better than hot glue in my opinion)

Vintage Flower Mod Podge Paper Compact Mirror

This is a simple version of the mirrors I like to create. I used a piece of (Fabulous) Vintage paper, cut out the shape of the mirror and adhered it with Mod Podge. I used Shimmer Mod Podge for the top- I new the gold tone would make this look even more vintagy. If Resin werent so tricky and fumey (< I know not even a word) I would coat the top with Resin to give it a glossy hard finish.

White Glitter Mirror

I dont think you can tell by this picture, but this is an example of why chunky or coarse (really just textured) Glitter works best for these mirrors. (It might have to do with the fact that I use a brush to apply the Mod Podge- I guess a foam brush would make it more even) When I cover the top of the mirror with Mod Podge, I get some places where the glue is thicker, causing ridges. When you sprinkle fine glitter, or fairy/glitter dust it shows ALL the imperfections. I have even tried coating and sprinkling it a few times but it still gives away all of its flaws.

Pink Heart Mirror

Pink Soft Glitter Heart Mirror.....just showcasing the mirrors I have made to inspire creativity for you. :-)

Blue Glitter Mirror

I used Mod Podge, Glitter, and a dash of creativity to make this mirror. I cover the top with Mod Podge and then sprinkle glitter all over the top of it.

Sellz Couture Reflections Collection Compact Mirrors

All these mirrors are part of the Sellz Couture line because of the designs.

This has to be my favorite mirror of the bunch! It's the first one I made that sparked my whole "Sellz Couture" Line. I LOVE the Rhinestone trim along the heart edge. Its altered with a chunky silver glitter. Aluminum Roses and pink Rhinestones complete this look.

*ON HOLD* Purple and Blue Heart Mirror. It features an elegant blue cameo cabochon surrounded by aluminum roses and rhinestones. This one is made with a very fine purple glitter.

*ON HOLD* Purple Compact Mirror with Aluminum Purple Roses, Purple Rhinestones and Clear Heart Rhinestone. Made with mod podge glitter and creativity.

This mirror could not be any more perfect! It is a beautiful, shimmery, fine blue glitter with Rhinestones and aluminum flowers on on the lower right side of the Oval shaped mirror.

Altered Compact or Pocket Mirrors

All of these mirrors are ONE of a kind.

I used resin for this one. I cut out a circle of Blue Leopard Print paper for the background and sprinkled glitter inside of the resin while mixing it. It's a print that is VERY in right now.

*SOLD* This Lime Green mirror is altered with acrylic paint. I used Mod Podge to adhere and seal the lime green paper background and to adhere the Lime Green Rhinestones.

"Rhinestones All Over Me" I love this one- because it is SO pink! This one was made before I fell in Love with Mod Podge, so I used my Hot Glue Gun to adhere the Rhinestones. It is so much LESS forgiving than the Mod Podge. I like using the MP because if I make a mistake or need to mve the peices around it gives me about a minute to do so! I adhered a plaid background paper in the back- really to cover up the imperfections of the mirror.

Smitten Heart Mirror. I designed this background with Photoshop. I sprinkled glitter along the edges to outline the words Smitten.

Smitten Mirror. I used resin mixed with glitter to seal this one.

"Love Me" Altered Compact Mirror

I used Mod Podge to create this mirror. It's one of my faves and took me a while to decide to sell it! I used a chunky silver glitter, some black letter beads, cameo cabochon, and a Rhinestone trim.

I have a few mirrors left that I can alter, colors and shapes vary. Email me Sellz@SellzCuteThings.com to find out what I have left! Mirror shown $15 with $3 shipping.

Beaded Altered Pocket Mirror

This adorable Lime Green Mirror is sprinkled with Beads on the cover. It's sprinkled over Mod Podge (my new Best Friend) This is one of the mirrors I used Acrylic on to paint it green- but the acrylic quickly peels off- which is why I don't sell these. (unless someone really really wants it)

"Heeeello" Hello Kitty Mirror

I alter these mirrors. I Use Mod Podge to adhere the Paper I want as my background. Then I use Mod Podge to Adhere the Rhinestones. (You could also use your hot glue gun- but the Mod Podge gives you a few minutes repositioning time)

Decoupaged Light Switch !!

I decoupaged 2 of my light switches today- and I havent stopped staring at how AMAZING they came out. I got the idea at ModgePodgeRocks.Blogspot.com (I Reeeeeally Love that Blog!!!) My first attempt wasn't perfection (but what art is?)...At first I was a little discouraged- until I looked across my desktop and saw my Rhinestones!!!! Diiing- IDEA!

(I borrowed a camera so my pics are better quality today.) This is my Rhinestone Blue Leopard Print Light Switch. I was SO excited about it and couldn't wait to share- I didn't even wait for it to dry! (You can see the wet glue in between the Rhinestones- in the middle.

See the air bubbles? Oh Well- Art Isn't perfect- and I still ADORE it- makes me feel like a true Diva to have this light switch in my bedroom. I wish I had two light switches in there to deck a whole one out in Rhinestones (might save that for my living room...hhmmm) I also used some Glitter Mod Podge on it- couldn't go without my Glitter!

This one is in my Art Room/Studio. I need to use up every space in my (tiny Brooklyn) apartment- which is why you see my shades on the wall here. Cute Storage idea though, right? Its a wire thingamajig from Ikea. It's in the frame aisle if you go looking for one. (Half the stash of my bags/purses are under the shades there- just pain ole storage bins until I can find something better)

My Art Room/Studio is also where I store my scarves (even tho this isn't even half of them!) I used a Hot Pink Houndstooth Scrap paper for this light switch. I smile every time I walk by it.

Hello Kitty Decoupaged!!!!

My camera was the unfortunate victim of a final lesson I needed to learn! So please excuse the quality of these pics- Im making lemonade out of oranges. :-)

I did my first Decoupage project today. I used Mod Podge. (I must admit I have fallen in LOVE with it- Im hunting around my house for what I could decoupage next!) I woke up on the Glitter side of the bed- and did this eeeearly in the morning. It is a very messy project. My nails still have glue on them (4 hours later) The finished product has some wrinkles in it- which I haven't quite figured out if they are mistakes or not- what I have decided is that I LOVE it the way it is.

This is the Hello Kitty Bank originally. My mom bought it for me at a flea market (she knew I had one already at home and thought it would make a great addition to my collection) I liked it when I first got it- but I wasn't thrilled with the colors and the paint job was quite poor on it.

This is the finished product!!

You cant tell from the picture- I know sorry!!!- but I used Glitter Mod Podge to give it that last umph! it needed. Isn't the cutest thing???

I took a pic of the other Hello Kitty Bank I had- just to share! I loooove how she winks! lol

O. M. G.

I must have died and gone to heaven when I saw these- and they altered with Mod Podge!?!? I have a pair of shoes my dogs tore up- that I havent been able to part with- and thank God I haven't! I have the PERFECT fabric for them. I wish there were a tutorial somewhere on how to do this- I am just going to dive in and go for it!!! I found this here (Via)

Sandal Photo Frame

I made these for my sister and cousin as a small souvenir for when my sis went to Hawaii to visit our cousin. I purchased this cute lil sandal at A.C. Moore for $1, it was a plain ole wooden lil' sandal. I painted it, added some ribbon, glitter, and a rhinestone in the middle of the flower. I also used fabric paint to put the month-year of the trip so they will always remember.

Pink Heart Mirror....

I made this for another of my students. She wanted a pink/black mirror. I did the same as I did with the orange one, I put glitter on the "S" and used transfer on's to add some decoration to the Heart itself.

Orange Heart Mirror

I made this Heart Mirror for one of my students. I used transfer ons to decorate the edges and used glitter on the "C" to add some Bling!
