DIY Leopard Print Stud Earring Holder

Ok, So I was in need of an easy way to see and access my stud earrings. I looked online for ideas and looked around my house to see what I had on hand. I have a few wooden frame mirrors and tons and tons of paper. I merged the two and came up with this super cute stud earring holder. You can probably use this for any kind of earring, but dangle earrings tend to be heavier and might eventually rip the paper, if interested in doing so you may want to back the paper with something strong, like vinyl? or thin cork?

I used cardstock, its heavier and it shouldn't rip.

Here is the back. I used mod podge to seal it in place. I was tempted to use a staple gun to secure the paper too, but lets see how the mod podge holds up. I pre-pierced the holes for the earrings with a paper piercer. (If you do so with the earring itself the paper tends to get creases.)

Ribbon Storage

Found these ADORABLE ribbons at Target's $1 spot...Im telling you if you havent checked that out you REALLY need too!

As promised here is how i store the rest of my ribbon....which is still in the packaging it comes in. I do not have one of those fancy shmansii wall ribbon holder things, so I make DO with what I've got (or atleast I think that's how the saying goes)

More Bead Storage ideas...

I bought these in these lil bottles. I wanted to share this cute lil bottles with ya'll b/c it is a cute storage idea, If I ever come across some I def let you know where you can buy them...Im sure some googling will find some answers too!

Some Bead Storage....

This is just a pic of one of my beading storage cubbi's.....They sell these storage items at a .99cents store (if you are lucky) or at most craft stores! (The container that holds the pearl beads...top right....is the original container for the beads) If you notice in the back I have a tool box (from Home Depot) that I use to store my beads! Inside the lil plastic containers I like to put the beads into lil plastic bags (which you can find at most craft stores or even .99cent stores) this way if i drop the box or something (considering how clumsy i can be) I wont have a bagillion lil' beads roaming about everywhere!

Ribbon storage in glass containers.....

I bought these glass storage containers from Ikea. The original purpose is for spices (I think) They were in the kitchen section. And the neat thing is that Ikea sells a nice rack to put these in.....I havent found time or space on my walls to put the rack up....but hopefully at some point i could. I seperated the ribbons by color...these are actually only my used ribbon, loose ribbons....I have another ontainer where I store the ribbon on the spools...I'll tak a pic and share with you on another post.

My Favorite Scrapping, Art, Craft, Storage Item (s)....

I love all my stuff but I especially ADORE my Ikea Storage unit. When I moved into this apartment I was so excited that I was FINALLY going to have a seperate space for all my scrapbooking and art supplies. My space is still a continuous work in progress....I'll update you as I update the room....

I think this storage unit is any Creative Artists DREAM! Everything has a place (or cubby) and there is a place (or cubby) for everything!!! Love it....

I also Adore these small storage units from Ikea also. I have finished painting them yet...but you get the direction im going in)

This is my Favorite...I almost changed the next one to look like this lol. I used a all Heidi Swapp products for this!! I used her Acrylic Damask Stamp (I love this stamp dearly...but it is unfortunately one of the stamps I told I received yellow I used color box silver paint (ok one thing not Heidi's) I also used her paper....I LOVE Houndstooth print also....I LOVE LOVE LOVE this piece!


This one is Cute too...Used some paper from K and C and adhered it to the drawers.
